They say the first impression is decided in merely a few seconds. But to change that impression, it takes more than 60 encounters. As the dry weather approaches with the changing season, we would like to talk about the care routine for the eye area, which decides the first impression.
Eye area skin, Why so sensitive?
The skin around the eyes is only about 0.04mm and is the thinnest part of our facial skin. It is only half as thin as the skin around our mouths and 1/3 of our foreheads. It has less sebaceous glands and sweat glands than the other parts of our face and therefore can easily get dry. As it is easier to scrunch up thinner paper, with the same movements the skin around the eyes can be more sensitive and prone to wrinkling and aging.

We say that the eyes are the windows to the heart. This means that we communicate by looking into each other’s eyes, and so if the eyes look tired or have wrinkles it might result in a bad first impression. And since looking young is the trend these days, wrinkle care is essential for trendy people.
